Solar Inverters

A solar inverter converts direct current(DC) electricity, which is what a solar panel generates, to alternating(AC) electricity, which the electrical grid uses.

At that point, your solar electricity can power your appliances and electronics or, if you're producing more electricity than you need, it can feed back into the grid. An example is the Kodak 5KVA inverter which is best suited to smaller domestic systems where no parallel operation is required.
